Servant Sunday Featuring Frances
Servant Sunday with Saint Frances, the Pastoral Pup
Frances, the Pastoral Pup, is a Goldendoodle who has been with St. Mark’s since 2018. She is at the church most days where she brings joy and love to our staff and visitors. She also keeps busy providing comfort to patients and residents at various local care facilities. Frances spends evenings and weekends with her parish host family.
A very popular visitor at The Inn at Waveny, Waveny Care Center and Silver Hill Hospital, Frances is also available for home visits. Call the church office 203.966.4515 or email churchoffice@stmarksnewcanaan.org to schedule a time.
The Pastoral Pup Team
Parishioners who are specially trained to take our pastoral pup, Frances, on her weekly visits to Waveny Care Center, Silver Hill Hospital, the Inn, and to the homes of individual parishioners in need. If you are interested in learning more about serving on the Pastoral Pup Team, please reach out to Jan Maynes at 203.966.4515 or by email at churchoffice@stmarksnewcanaan.org.
