Church School

Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in your child’s spiritual journey for the 2026–2027 program year. We’re looking forward to a wonderful year together!

Our Church School classes meet every Sunday during the 10AM worship service until the Peace (approx. 10:50AM). Childcare is also available for children who are not yet elementary school age.

We hope to see your children in Morrill Hall this Sunday at 10AM for “Teach and Sing” with Ned Tipton, Director of Music Ministry.

Our Church School curricula are carefully designed and selected for specific age groups. Please have your children attend the class for their grade so they can have the most engaging experience with their peers.

KINDERGARTEN – Godly Play 1 

Godly Play is a Montessori-based approach that helps children become aware of God’s presence in the world through visual storytelling. In part one, children are introduced to the Old and New Testaments in chronological order.

GRADES 1–2 – Godly Play 2 

Building on year one, children hear a more in-depth telling of the stories of our faith, including an introduction to the lives of the prophets and Jesus’ apostles.

GRADES 3–4 – Holy Moly

Over a two-year cycle, Holy Moly follows the arc of the Bible from Genesis through the early church. Children watch an animated, narration-free version of the day’s Bible story and then interpret and explore it together through group discussion.

GRADES 5–7 – Meet in the Middle

The Connect curriculum helps pre-teens make further sense of the Bible by revisiting its greatest stories and uncovering major biblical themes. Teachers lead age-appropriate conversations about how these stories relate to our lives and the challenges of living out our faith at home and school.
