Interested in Serving as an Acolyte?

An acolyte is a lay volunteer who assists the clergy during worship services, including the celebration of the Eucharist. Serving as an acolyte is a meaningful way for our youth to participate in Sunday worship and become more involved in the life of St. Mark’s.

We welcome all Youth Group members and 8th graders enrolled in this year’s Confirmation Class to participate in this important ministry.

For our confirmands, regular church attendance throughout their 8th-grade year is an important part of their journey. Confirmands are also required to serve as an acolyte seven times between October and April.
