A Service of Evensong for All Saints & All Souls

Choral Evensong (sung Evening Prayer) is one of the most beautiful services of our tradition. Most of Evensong is sung by the choir, freeing the congregation to attend prayerfully to the “holiness of beauty.”

Solemn Evensong is perhaps the most uniquely Anglican/Episcopal Service in Christian worship, and is one of our most beautiful means of outreach to the broader community. Sung in observance of the Feasts of All Saints & All Souls, the service will include music specifically written for those two feasts by Franz Schubert, and T. Tertius Noble, all sung by the St.Mark’s Choir and Soloists and accompanied by Dr. Michael Burnette at the organ.

Service is followed by a festive reception hosted by The Friends of Music at St. Mark’s in Morrill Hall.
