Brown Bag Lunch Discussions

Brown Bag Lunch Discusssions

Bring Your Lunch and Join in a Discussion

As part of New Canaan’s 30 Days of Family, we will present discussions for parents on important topics. All are welcome.

First up: Parishioner Jarvis Cromwell gives an insider’s take on the digital era. He reports on where the future might be taking us, discusses some of the latest thinking on the impacts (good, bad, and ugly) and offers a few simple steps you can take to bring a healthy tech/life balance to you and your family. Jarvis is a former Fortune 500 Chief Marketing Officer and is currently working on new digital concepts to save the traditional media, which is suffering epic revenue declines in the wake of digital disruption.

From April 25: Sasha Carr, Ph.D: Certified Child and Family Sleep Specialist Off to Dreamland—Five Secrets for Successful Sleep Does getting enough sleep feel like a battle? It doesn’t have to be. Dr. Carr shares her top 5 secrets to promoting healthy sleep for yourself and your family. After this talk participants left with tools to tackle the most common sleep troubles and get more rest for everyone. Dr. Carr is a psychologist specializing in adult, child, and family sleep. She is a graduate of the Clinical/Health Psychology Doctoral Program at Rutgers University and a Certified Child and Family Sleep Consultant through the Family Sleep Institute.
