Traditional Worship Services

Traditional Worship Services

St. Mark’s offers three traditional services each week, two on Sunday mornings and one on Wednesday morning.

Communion at St. Mark’s.  The Episcopal Church invites all baptized Christians to partake at the Lord’s Table, including children.

Dress Code. Some Episcopalians tend toward more formal dress to honor the Lord on His day. And while you’ll no doubt see gentlemen with ties and ladies in heels at St. Mark’s, you will also see open neck shirts and slides. In keeping with the motto, “The Episcopal Church Welcomes All,” know that dressing up is by no means a requirement.  The important thing is to come and worship with us.

Childcare.  St. Mark’s offers childcare for infants and toddlers in our nursery, which has recently relocated to Room B upstairs in the education wing.  The nursery is open from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon every Sunday morning from September through early June. During the summer, it operates from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The kid-friendly nursery, with its fantastic animal mural painted is staffed by caring, professional childcare workers, including at least one adult caretaker and an assistant.
