Social Gatherings

At St. Mark’s we enjoy making new friends, and we love to mix it up.

St. Mark’s Supper Club. St. Mark’s Supper Club is one of our most popular venues for doing just that.  Random names of parishioners, couples and singles, are drawn out of a hat (a bishop’s mitre works well, but if one isn’t handy, so does a bike helmet). They are assigned to a group of about ten people who meet at each other’s homes every six weeks or so for informal dinner and conversation. The host usually provides the main course, and the guests are usually assigned side dishes and desserts. It’s a terrific opportunity to get to know fellow parishioners and to get the scoop on so much else. The only agenda is to enjoy each other’s company and to get to know each other a bit better. Groups are set up each September.

If you've never participated, we encourage you to join this year.  And if you've enjoyed it before, be sure to sign up at the Ministry Fair on Sunday, September 10.  Or you can call the church office.

Sunday Social Hour.  Following our 10:00 am Holy Eucharist service, parishioners meet in Morrill Hall to enjoy fellowship and light refreshment. Come join with us for a few moments before you step back out into the world and go forth to love and serve the Lord. Sign up to host this gathering one Sunday by calling the church office.
