St. Mark’s is a parish built on the foundation of relationships. Here we nurture first our relationship with God. By watching it grow and evolve, we are better able to improve our bonds with our families, our neighbors, and, most importantly, ourselves.
Because when we are balanced in mind, body and spirit through the grace of our Lord, the dishes somebody left dirty in the sink seem less daunting. The difficult colleague becomes less a pain in the neck and more someone for whom to pray and show compassion.
Through this seismic and miraculous attitudinal shift, our relationships ripen and multiply. The world becomes our neighborhood. And we begin to recognize it is God’s wish that we make it a better place.

It is our calling to sustain these relationships through God’s overflowing gifts of faith, hope and love. Our worship is designed to bring us to a greater sense of God’s presence - the sacred - in our lives. God’s transformative power and presence is with us everyday. But we must be open to receive it. Our activities, programs and group gatherings at St. Mark’s help us along that road.
