Youth Mental Health Training
A two-part Youth Mental Health First Aid training will be offered at St. Mark’s on January 20 (Part A) and January 27 (Part B) from 9AM-1PM through the harris project. You have the unique opportunity to join over one million people across America who have learned skills to build a better foundation for helping young people who may have or may be developing mental health and/or substance misuse challenges.
Raising awareness about a diagnosis few have heard of—co-occurring disorders (COD) is the mission of the harris project , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. COD is the combination of one or more mental health challenges and substance misuse. It is the only nonprofit committed to the integration of mental health and substance use services. Their focus is on teenagers, young adults, and their families.
The cost of this event is being covered by Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan. Breakfast and snacks will be provided. To register for this course,
please contact St. Mark’s Director of Youth Ministries, Cyra Borsy at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Church Office at 203.966.4515.
