Kris Holloway, Peace Corps Volunteer to Speak at St. Mark's
November 16 at 4pm
Kris Holloway, former Peace Corps Volunteer and author of Monique and the Mango Rains: Two Years with a Midwife in Mali, will visit St. Mark’s on Sunday November 16th at 4 pm in the library.
We invite everyone to join us and hear the story of the life and death of a remarkable West African midwife; Monique Dembele. Kris worked side-by-side with Monique, birthing babies and caring for mothers together, in a remote, impoverished village in
